Notes From The Owner
Naber Landscaping has been in the area since 1996. It has been a pleasure working with the community that we all love.
Here are some tips for hiring a concrete or landscaping contractor.
When choosing a contractor, ask lots of questions and get as many specifics as possible written into the contract. If the price seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
If something is not in the contract, ask them to put it in. Any reputable company will be willing to provide references and insurance information even if you don't ask.
Contractors should also have job addresses or pictures for you to look over.
Contractors should always answer your call or return it within 12-24 hours.
No contractor should ever require any money until they are on the job doing work.
If you want your project done before a certain date, you should consider calling early in the year. (March through May)
When you find a contractor you like, the sooner you sign a contract with them, the sooner your job can be completed. Most contractors schedule on a first-come-first-served basis. Any delay in signing a contract might cost you a month or two of waiting.
Always have a contract signed to protect yourself, and the contractor. If you or the contractor needs to revise or add something to the contract due to unforseen circumstances, be sure both parties agree on the changes and the price and get it in writing with a signature from you and the contractor.
Be sure the contractor has the correct tools and equipment to complete your project.
When it comes to your property and hard-earned money, no question should be considered a dumb question.
A reputable contractor will keep you informed of when he/she will start your project.
A few days after receiving your estimate, the contractor should contact you to see how things are, and offer to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Don't forget that we work for you.
